Owning a home for the first time can be a dream for many, and when communities come together, those dreams can become a reality.
Through our partnership with FHLBank and Alachua County Habitat for Humanity, we’re helping support the construction of 10 homes for Alachua County residents like the Murphy family.
On Tuesday, August 5th, we celebrated the dedication of the Murphy family home with Natalia Murphy. For 17 years, she’s built her life and her family in this community; now as a part of Alachua Habitat’s Homeownership Program, she’ll own a house where she can invest in a tailored space for her five children (and sixth on the way!) and her goal to own her own business one day.
A place to call home can be so important when building a strong financial future, and as this program continues to create homes for members of our community, we’re proud to say the future is looking bright.
